The 3d model and footprint don't seem to match

It appears that the 2D model was created by a user, as indicated by the label on the part page, and it doesn’t meet our quality standards. I've reported this to our team, and we'll update you as soon as we have more information.

In the meantime, the 3D model is accurate and was created by the SnapMagic team. Feel free to download and use it in your design.

The model for this part was created by one of our users and has not yet been verified by the SnapMagic team. Please note that when a SnapMagic model is available, the part page will prioritize it. However, we currently don't have CAD models for every part in existence.

That said, we can prioritize an update for this part with our CAD team. We also reached out to the manufacturer to confirm the pad details beneath the component body.

In the meantime, do you happen to have the physical component for this part number? If you're able to share it with us for reference, it would greatly help accelerate the process.

Hello, this is Carlos stepping in for Amina, thanks for patiently waiting. The manufacturer sent us a datasheet update, and the 3D model for 78L05 has been updated.

Our team shall also update the footprint, and we shall reach back to you as soon as this is done.

Quick update on the footprint: we haven’t yet heard back from the manufacturer on the recommended land pattern, so we’ve temporarily removed the old footprint from the part page. The 3D model is available. Feel free to download and use in your design.
