SnapEDA Plugin: KiCad 5.99 / KiCad 6 Support

thanks for the answer:
I refered to your document on how to install the Plugin with KiCad ( https://support.snapeda.com/en/articles/3804094-how-to-install-kicad-plugin ) - however, I used the

Tools -> External Plugins -> Open Pluginfolder
option to be really sure to copy the plugin files into the correct folder and then pressed "Refresh plugins" as shown in the document.

However, no error was shown and also no plugin was available within the Tools -> External Plugins area. I did the same test with KiCad 5.1.9 and that worked, so I am guessing in 5.99 something has changed for the plugins so that the snapeda plugin is not compatible anymore.

I also have had problems with this plugin on 5.99. When I install it in the plugin folder as shown in the guide it does not show up in the program. I have refreshed plugins and restarted the program with no luck.

We are happy to inform you that the new version of our SnapEDA Desktop app has been released and it now supports KiCad versions 5, 5.99, 6, 6.99. The latest version of the SnapEDA Desktop app can be downloaded here:

Our team is still working on ensuring compatibility of the KiCad plugin. However, if you are running your plugin on Windows, you can now use this tool to replace the SnapEDA Plugin for KiCad 6. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

OK, sadly did not work.
Its connected to KiCad but upon adding to the library, it outputs: "Error while executing kicad script"
