Why does Eagle plugin not connect?

I downloaded the Eagle plugin on Eagle 9.6.2, and followed the instructions in the README.

When I clicked on the SnapEDA logo in the schematic editor I get this error:

"Problem connecting to SpanEDA. Check your internet connection".

My internet connection is working fine.

Found the solution, it's a bug in Eagle. Here is Autodesk's official response of how to fix it:
